MS WORD HOME TAB

Tools have been set in several places to edit Text in MS Word. These places are called Tabs. You also know them as Menu. In this lesson we'll let you know about MS Word's Home Tab. You can also activate ms Word's Home Tab by pressing Alt+H from Keyboard to activate its tools. Or you can also use it with Mouse. By Default in MS Word is the buttons of this Tab.

MS Word's Home Tab is divided into several group. Each group has buttons/commands related to a particular task. You can use these buttons by pressing them with mouse. Below we'll tell you how many groups are in Home Tab? And what is the work of the tools available in each group?

The names and functions of home Tab's groups

MS Word that Home Tab has a total of 5 group. You can see them in the Screen Shot shown above. These groups are named Clipboard, Font, Paragraph, Styles, and Editing respectively. You are now familiar with home Tab groups. Let us now know the work of each group.


Clipboard

Clipboard is a temporary storage. That contains the Data Save that you've copyed or cut. Unless you paste this Data. Until then he stays in the Data Clipboard. When your system is closed, Save Data in Clipboard is also automatically empty. So as long as your System stays moving. You can use Save Data in Clipboard.


Font

You formatting Text through commands available in Font Group. This allows you to change Font Family, Font Size, Font Style, and more. You can format any MS Word Document by your own through these commands.


Paragraph

This group contains commands related to setting paragraph. You can set paragraph indent, height between Lines (Space), Alignment, and more. In addition, you can also put Border, Shadings in List, Sorting, Text.


Styles

Styles are applied to Documents by this Command. Styles Command contains some built-in Document Styles. They already have Font, Font Size, Font Color, Headings, etc. Set.


Editing

Edit Group has 3 Commands. Find Command searches for a particular word/sentence available in ms word document. Replace Command allows you to type another word instead of any word available in the MS Word Document. You only have to change the word once, and instead of that word, the other word is typed. And the Text available in the Text Document can be selected simultaneously at the entrance to select Command.
